Michigan Student Aid Scholarship Database - MI Student Aid houses a database of Michigan scholarships. This Letter to Seniors has important information and resources to maximize your opportunities for State of Michigan Aid programs. You can also sign up for text message alerts when you visit the Michigan Student Aid website.

Raise.Me is a social enterprise focused on expanding access to higher education, especially among low income and first generation students. Rather than waiting until the end of high school to earn scholarships, which is often too late to impact a student's college ambitions or choices, Raise.me enables students to earn scholarships throughout high school, starting as early as 9th grade, for doing all the things that best prepare them to succeed, whether that’s getting good grades, volunteering in the community or joining an extracurricular. Create an account at Raise.Me and fill in all the information you can. Also select colleges you are considering to start earning scholarships.

Union Plus Scholarship- Dependent of current and retired members of participating unions, 3.0 GPA. Application available online. Due by January 31

MCWT Foundation Scholarships - The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation (MCWT) is now accepting applications. MCWT Foundation is offering scholarship opportunities for technology-focused female high school seniors who will be enrolled full time in college level courses for the 2019-2020 academic year at a Michigan University. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is January 31

Michigan Society of Professional Engineers - Current Michigan high school seniors who are accepted in an engineering degree program at a Michigan ABET accredited college or university (see list on website) with an intent to earn a degree in engineering. Michigan Education Association Scholarship MEA Scholarship - Must be a dependent of MEA member in good standing or MEA-Retired member, Graduate from a public high school or a private high school that has an MEA unit. See link for other eligibility criteria and selection criteria. The application can be typed into, saved and then printed for signature to be mailed with the required documentation - Deadline is February  

Fred and Lena Meijer Scholarship - Open to Meijer Team Members and Children of Meijer Team Members with continuous service since April 2, 2018. Awards vary from $4,000-$10,000. Apply online. Deadline is March 1, 2022.

The Truman D. Picard Scholarship Program is dedicated to the support of Native American students pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources. ​You must have Evidence of validated enrollment in a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation, as established by the U.S. Government. Robert Holmes Scholarship Program - Must be a legal dependent of a Michigan Teamster member. Up to six $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students entering college as a freshman in the fall. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

Plante Moran Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program - Must be a dependent child of a staff member of P&M Holding Group, LLP and related companies. Up to ten $2,000 scholarships will be awarded.See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

Chris M. Kurzweil Scholarship Program - Must be a legal dependent of an employee of Intertape Polymer Group. One $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to a student entering college as a freshman in the fall. Recipient may reapply for three additional years, if full time enrollment has been maintained. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

Enrico and Marie Vespa Scholarship Program - Must be an employee and/or immediate custodial dependent of English Gardens Corporation. Up to four $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to students entering college in the fall. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

Jeptha Wade Schureman Scholarship Program - For fatherless children who reside in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Lenawee, Washtenaw, Livingston or St. Clair Counties and attend one of the 15 public universities in Michigan. Up to ten $7,500 scholarships will be awarded to students. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

Helen Tallman Scholarship Program - The purpose of the Helen Tallman Scholarship is to provide educational scholarship support to engineering and medical or pre-medical students at Wayne State University. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

Miguel Cabrera Family Scholarship - For Michigan and Florida graduating seniors who would be first generation college students and demonstrate financial need. See application for full criteria. Application available online. Deadline is March 15

St. Clair County Community Foundation - The Community Foundation of St. Clair County administers a variety of scholarship funds. Our scholarship donors are as varied as the nearly 50 awards they represent, but they all have one thing in common. They believe that every student should have the opportunity to achieve their educational dreams. Click on the link below to go directly to their website. You will be asked a number of questions to determine which scholarships you qualify for. Once you have completed the form, you will be directed to a list of scholarships available to you based upon your answers. All Scholarships require attaching additional documents. Ex: transcripts, essays, letters of recommendation. You must apply on line. You will receive a confirmation email confirming your application has been received and is complete. Deadline for all Community Foundation Scholarships is March 

SC4 Scholarships - SC4 is now accepting applications from students who plan to attend SC4 for the 2019-20 academic year. The SC4 foundation, community groups and private donors offer numerous scholarships to fit nearly all student academic records, backgrounds and financial situations. An online system allows students to apply for multiple scholarships by filling out just one online application. Open an account on line, review their scholarships, and apply for all of the scholarships you are eligible for. For questions, contact the Financial Aid Office at (810) 989-5530. SC4 External and Foundation Scholarships - This link is for scholarships available to students who are attending colleges other than SC4. There are also scholarships available for students who will be attending SC4 for the 2019-20 academic school year. For questions, contact the Financial Aid Office at (810) 989-5530. 

Michigan Association of School Personnel Administrators Minority Teacher Education Scholarship - Applicants must have at least a 2.8 GPA, be a member of one of the federal ethnic groups listed on the application and be admitted into a TEACHER training program at a college or university. Deadline is April 1

Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) Scholarship Competition - Will award up to 21 scholarships. Awards are NOT based on financial need. To be eligible, the student or his/her parents must be employed at a business that is a member of MRA. To find out if a business is an MRA member, check with the employer or call Rachel Schrauben at 800-366-3699 extension 346. Deadline is April 1

American Legion Legacy Scholarship - Children of U.S. military members who died while on active duty on or after Sept. 11, 2001 (does not have to be a death out-of-country or in combat) or children of post-9/11 veterans having been assigned a combined disability rating of 50 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Affairs also qualify. 2019 Student-View Scholarship Program - Simply log on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute application survey about colleges in your area. The scholarship will be awarded via a random drawing of all completed applications. Scholarship Deadline is April 

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship - This scholarship is available to juniors and seniors. This is an essay based scholarship with an award of up to $1,000. Apply online. Deadline June 12, 2022

Big Sun Scholarship - All student athletes are eligible for this scholarship. Essay (500-1000 words). Apply online. Deadline is June 19, 2022
