Encourage Alumni Giving
Each year, alumni support Cardinal Mooney through the Annual Fund. You can help us increase dollars raised as well as participation by contacting other alumni and asking them to join you in supporting our school. Outreach is conducted through a letter, phone, email, or a combination thereof. To help, contact the Advancement Office at [email protected].

Each year, every parent is asked to support Cardinal Mooney through the Annual Fund. Engage with Students
Do you have the ability to tutor a current Cardinal Mooney student in a certain subject? Can you offer career advice to a budding computer programmer? Are you willing to share your journey from shy English student to published author? Cardinal Mooney students love to hear and benefit from your real-world perspective in an area they enjoy learning about and/or may be considering as a career. Find Lost Classmates
At any one time, many Cardinal Mooney alumni are “Lost” in terms of up-to-date contact information Cardinal Mooney has. You can help these alumni reconnect with us and with their classmates and other alumni by providing Cardinal Mooney with their current address and other contact information. Host an Alumni Reception
Whether you live in Michigan or elsewhere, you can help Cardinal Mooney connect with its alumni by hosting an alumni reception. These events generally take place in an alumna/us’ home or at a club, restaurant, or other venues with which he/she is familiar. Cardinal Mooney takes care of inviting alumni in a particular area and collecting responses; the alumna/us takes care of refreshments for approximately 15-35 attendees. Join an Event Committee
There’s a role for everyone, and an event that’s right for you. Whether you have a few hours to share, or can take on a leadership role, our events depend upon volunteer support and the proceeds support Cardinal Mooney ograms. Offer a Testimonial
You support Cardinal Mooney; tell others why you do. Whether you are a current family, an alum, a donor, etc. —Cardinal Mooney could use your ‘voice’ to help others follow your lead. Testimonials can be two-to-three sentences or two-three paragraphs, and they are generally featured both in print and online. To help, contact the Advancement Office at [email protected].
Photograph Events
If you have a talent for photography or want to have a reason to work on your skills, we love having great shots from our events. Whether you can attend a sporting event, fundraiser, FIRST Robotics event, or just a regular school day, please share them with usl for use in publications and on the website. Provide Goods or Services
The Spring Auction is the largest fundraising event of the year - with both a live and silent auction as part of the evening. Donate experiences, services, or goods to be sold to the highest bidder! There are also many elements to hosting alumni events - catering, centerpieces, music, food and/or beverage, which you could donate to help underwrite the event - if you can't personally attend an event you could still be instrumental to making it a success!
